Our Parish is part of the Diocese of Blackburn, an area which roughly covers the County of Lancashire. The Chief Bishop is Nicholas, our Father in God; he is assisted by Bishop Geoff (The Bishop of Lancaster) and Bishop John (The Bishop of Burnley). We have been fortunate to have been able to welcome all three of our Bishops for significant occasions in the recent past. The Diocese is itself part of the Province of York: our Archbishop is John Sentamu.
